COSMOS publications are divided into the following categories:
● Guidelines: Part of COSMOS' mission is to standardize the collection, monitoring, archiving, and dissemination of data. These guidelines are the first step toward developing international standards.
● Reports, Papers, and Presentations: these include reports in response to requests by governmental agencies, and papers and presentations at conferences.
● COSMOS Newsletters: these include informative newsletters detailing COSMOS' activities as we strive to further our mission and goals.
● COSMOS Workshop Proceedings: these include all COSMOS-sponsored workshops, both under COSMOS' sponsorship and in conjunction with other agencies, including U.S. Geological Survey, the California Geological Survey, California Department of Transportion, and the Federal Highway Administration.
● VDC Fact Sheets are published when major upgrades and changes have been made to the Virtual Data Center and we want to alert our members to these exciting changes.
