Membership in COSMOS connects your organization with a broader community working on strong-motion earthquake data, standards, and instrumentation. Members support and benefit from data collection and processing guidelines, technical workshops and forums, and continued development of tools such as the COSMOS Virtual Data Center.
Member Benefits
Members receive opportunities for professional development, access to technical resources and guideline documents, and a chance to network with others working across strong-motion monitoring, earthquake engineering, and seismology. Members are also invited to participate in COSMOS’s Annual Meeting and Technical Session, and can take part in consensus-based discussion on issues affecting the strong-motion community.
